To present food artistically and for it also to appear appetising in photographs is a challenging task. It is not simply a case of lighting the food beautifully it requires careful presentation of the ingredients and dishes and a sensitivity to the cuisine itself.

David has always loved food and cookery and it clearly shows in his photography of the subject. He spent eight years living in France and worked with restaurants, producers and suppliers.

He has travelled nationally and internationally to produce food photography for websites and book publications. His pictures from a recent trip to Berlin to prepare images for a book on Indian cuisine by Indo-German chef Jai Menon speak for themselves.
